Rare Impact Fund

The Rare Impact Fund is part of Rare Beauty’s commitment to give people access to the resources they need to support their mental health. Rare Beauty donates 1% of all sales to the Rare Impact Fund and raises additional funds with philanthropic foundations, corporate partners, and individuals in our community to increase access to mental health services in educational settings.

Did you know?

    • In a recent report by the American Psychological Association, 7 out of 10 Gen Zers (ages 8-23) were most likely to report experiencing common symptoms of depression1—with pre-teens and teens having the highest rate of suicide ideations as compared to other age groups, according to the Annual State of Health in America (as cited in USA Today, 2021).2


    • Suicide is the second leading cause of death in the Gen Z community according to the CDC (as cited in Business Insider, 2019).3


    • Only 16% of all children receive mental health assistance in school environments where they spend the majority of their waking hours, according to research by Clinical Child & Family Psychology Review and Health Affairs (as cited in USA Today, 2021).2


    • In recent years, only 1.3% of overall philanthropic investments went to support mental health, according to data from CANDID developed by the Center for High Impact Philanthropy (as cited in Inside Philanthropy, 2020).4

We need to meet young people where they are,with the resources, services, and education needed to support their mental health. And we need to act now. We hope you’ll join us!
